ABOUT THE PROJECT

CHALLENGE

A forecast on the ‘future of fitness in the year 2030’, developed as a group project at Brunel University. The self-consciousness about well-being has increased a lot in the last decades and we think that, also with the help of technology, will still be changing in the future.

MY ROLE

I have helped structuring the overall research and deciding which methods and tools to use to get insights. I have suggested to record a video to show our concept which has been very much appreciated academically. I also have contributed to the presentation layout and video shootings.

APPROACH

We narrowed down the topic of well-being to concentrate on the relationship between fitness and technology. We identified trends and fads, using different forecasting tools such as Janus Cones diagram and Context map. We also carried out literature review and conducted interviews with experts. The holographic drone can motivate people in order to reach their goals through self monitoring. It can also store data related to health status and use the virtual trainer in different types of activities.
